The 200ft high Middlesborough Transporter Bridge was built in 1911 and spans the Tees. This great bridge serves as a reminder of the Norths great industrial past. This is the tallest example of a transporter bridge world wide and is so famous it has stared in Billy Elliott, Auf Wiedersehen Pet and the Fast Show.
